This blog is dedicated to my many various projects, contraptions, creations, hobbies and my thoughts related to them.

I continually look to enhance and modify everything around me. I’m not content with the face value of an object; I need to know what’s inside, how it works, and how I can modify it to work for me.

I mainly create using what is at hand. Salvaged wire, wood, metal, electronic components, etc. I would rather shape a project around my available materials instead of ordering specific parts online and waiting for them to arrive. This method is known as bricolage; “Something constructed or created from a diverse range of available things”.

In a consumerist society that accepts planned obsolescence as standard, I believe in utilizing an item to it’s maximum potential, all the way down to it’s base materials.
